"Mica, San ka?"
While my classmates here in Dagupan are rushing for our school projects and while some of them are having fun with their partners, I am spending my Monday in Greenhills.
I woke up at around 10:30AM (bumabawi haha) and ate my lunch too. Spent the lazy afternoon with smelling Carlo’s armpits and enjoying his company. When Lola decided to go around Greenhills with Ate Leni, I decided to go with them.
I was texting Jade if we could meet up before I go back to Dagupan(and yes I’m back hehe) at Starbucks when she invited me to watch a movie with her and some of her friends in Promenade Mall. I was a bit shy at first but then i finally agreed.
That’s Jade and Me at Timezone - Mga feeling Koreana hehe :p
The JLO ng Starstruck showing her red nails haha
We meet up by 8:30PM infront of Timezone and she was with Abe then Arci followed. Both of them are nice and they’re fun to be with! We played games and teased each other first before going to Theater Mall Cinema.
Abe, Arci, Jade and I infront of a Shake Stand :p
We ended up watching Primeval. The movie is quite good and the moral story? The Real Monsters are not those big ugly giants who would later on skin us alive.. The Real Monsters are human-beings who kills and making other people’s lives miserable.
I am hella proud of Jade for what she is right now. The last time i saw her was back in March 2006 in Baguio during Christian Esteban’s Graduation. You can see her regularly on the show Princess Charming every afternoon at GMA-7. Aside from her showbiz commitments, Jade is also busy being a Bedista. She’s currently a freshmen Psychology Student at San Beda College. Another lesson i learned from her is that Showbiz is not forever. It’s much better if these teen stars pursue their studies kahit konting units lang. (Admit it, not all Starstruck/SCQ graduates are active in their showbiz careers).
Abe, Arci and Jade — > Sa uulitin! :p

The laptops are more convenient for computing at home than any other home systems. In laptops, the asus laptop is widely common all over the world because of because of its wide range. But, laptop compatibility with all brands is becoming a critical question for laptop manufacturers. Before, purchasing laptop, any body has to consider stolen laptop guide for avoiding stolen laptops. Many people are repairing their laptops by purchasing parts from used laptop scrap.
For the first time in my twenty (well, almost!) years of existence, I finally got the chance to attend the Hidalgo Reunion last March 4, 2007 with my Grannies. I did prepare for this event since it was my first time.
Tita Felicia gave me a warning that there's a LOT of food in the party (I Love Eating even if it ain't obvious in my pics lol) and I was excited to eat a LOT :p
We arrived at 4PM with Lolo Peping's favorite CHILI CON CARNE and brought his own Lambanog for the family members to drink.
Got the chance to bond with my cousin Ysa for a while in the basketball court when we noticed the heart in our name tags. How come the rest has no stickers in their nametags? We wondered why.
Lolo Peping With His Cousin
My Lolo introduced me to the Guanios for my OJT (hopefully!). Can't believe I actually have relatives who are into the IT Business. I got a chance to meet the rest and I had another "starstruck" moment when I saw Cholo Laurel who is my Tito pala. I never thought that he directed the Claudine Baretto starrer "Nasaan ka Man". I also dream to be a director/scriptwriter someday. Unluckily, I wasn't able to even say Hi to him
By 5pm, everyone was outside getting their own food: Appetizers, Desserts, Beverages, Meat, Pork, Fish, Veggies, Pastries and more! I was confused on which food to get so i ended up eating less than what i expected :p
The Different Houses shared their own videos and for sure most of the members of the clan were reminiscing the old times where they use dto play around and care less about life.. now that they've grown as matured individuals, it's more work and less play. (Too bad we have no video in the House of Nieves huhu).
Now the answer to my question is here! The Hearts indicates that we will be playing for the Hidalgo Trivia Challenge! The two youngsters (that's me and ysa) went infront and we belonged to different teams. I was laughing out loud coz we got a low score (Team Eulalia won.. what's our team name again? haha). Loosing the game is not a bad thing though coz I received a notebook for the effort :p
The Formal Program began by 6pm where they presented the Hijo de Algo Awards to the achievers in the clan. If only I knew how to nominate someone I could have nominated for the most important man in my life.
They also updated the clan about the sales of the Potluck-Hidalgo Family Cookbook (Please get your own copy!). I was joking around with my Lolo Peping when I told him that I'd be contributing a dish soon called "Micaela's Nilagang Itlog" :p
After the presentation of the awards, The Tribute to the Departed Ones by Cholo Laurel was shown I ended up crying. The video was full of emotions and is really moving.
I was not ready to see this colored picture to be shown with the other black-n-white photos in the "Departed Ones".

Oh yes Joseph Rodriguez I cried twice because of you this weekend!
Seeing his picture in the video made me cry. I realized that this picture reminds me of eternity (maybe it's because of the background.. i dunno). Tito George's Graduation Photo (where i think he gave his best smile ever) made me reminisce the times when we were chatting through YM.. That was way back in 1999-2001.
I think they missed some photos.. I'm sure they're not really forgotten
When the lights were On, I can see the older ones crying in their hankies.
The Reunion is a memorable one for me. I am looking forward to meeting them again soon!
Realization : Adventures shared with your most trusted friends can be the most fulfilling no matter how simple the so-called “Challenge” is. It’s ok to be crazily in love inside the cinema room for two hours! :p
For the first time in four years, Maire and I finally met up in Manila!
Ok, maybe for you it’s not a big deal, but for me and some of my friends, convincing Maire to travel on her own from Espana to Cubao is a big challenge since this girl is contented reading her calculus books and calculating any other mathematical chuvanesses out there
Let me narrate the story to you:
Last Wednesday, I texted her that I might go to Manila and I’m also dying to watch “You Got Me” (most of my friends here in Dagupan are busy with their respective lives and I’m bored haha) and she said that she’s willing to travel just to watch that film with me (we used the watch the cheesiest movies back in high school) then she asked for her brother’s permission and they agreed that she should be home by 9pm and she must buy her jogging pants in any of the malls.
We arrived in Manila at 9:30AM (We even passed by Paolo Bediones’ Billboard where a guy went up there and is being rescued by some people) and took a short nap. Went to Gateway by 11:15AM (and I’m late haha). She was waiting for me in the Food Court and took pictures of herself out of boredom :p I really can’t believe that she made an effort to go there by herself :p

We bought tickets at the cinema for You Got Me and ate our lunch. I can’t help but reminisce the time we watched “Pakisabi na Lang Mahal Ko Siya” (Cogie Domingo and Judy Ann Santos) where we were laughing our hearts out. :p

One thing I realized upon watching this film is that we girls tend to suffer if the guy we really like is scared of asking us that special question. Grrrr..

Zanjoe Marudo plays Caloy, a dvd vendor in Quiapo who fell in love with Moe (Toni Gonzaga). I Love the Zanjoe-Toni Scenes
Believe it or not, I cried on the first part of the action-comedy movie (if you were able to watch it and you know bits of my family life you’d understand why I cried). I can relate to Toni’s Character in the movie. She’s strong, tough, adventurous, family-oriented but she has so much love to give.. it’s just that her Prince Charming hasn’t come yet to save her and fight for her.
I realized that Toni's Character in her movies and tv shows and even the "real toni" is very similar to me.
After watching the movie, we ate some ice cream then went straight to Glorietta (Thanks to MRT for the convenience hehe). All we did was walk, walk and walk. We saw a couple of celebrities like Borgy Manotoc, Ornussa Cadness, Mariel Rodriguez and Gian Magdangal, my new crush!
We went to Greenhills afterwards and ate at Jollibee. We went to the tiangge to buy her jogging pants and a white top I used for the Hidalgo Reunion. We passed by Platinum to say hello to Carlo then I went to Cubao with her and then she rode LRT on her way home.

Well what can I say? Congratulations for a job well done to the “Winnie Caldero of III-Economics” :p
