As I have mentioned in my earlier posts, I'm planning to make a simple blogsite dedicated to my brother Carlo who is an autistic child. I'll be sharing my day-to-day experiences as a sister to a special child. All the joys, pains and inspiration that only he can offer 
A lot of people have misunderstood the real meaning of Autism. Some people call them names such as "sira-ulo", "sintu-sinto" etc. I'll be honest that I'm already used to stares of strangers especially when I'm with him. He is a hyperactive kid.. very hyper!
Juan Carlos Rodriguez loves music. He can adapt to tunes easily and he also loves to draw. He is currently enrolled in an one-on-one SPED program in Dagupan City and I can see much improvement in him.
There are times wherein I feel like I'm an irresponsible sister. Why? because I seldom check his weekly developments. There are also times wherein I'd choose to go out with friends that spend the weekend with him. Well I've changed a bit. He needs me more since he's growing up as a tall young teenager.
Btw, He's turning 12 years old by April 11. I'm planning to launch the full blog on the same day

I slept early last night (3pm is very early in the morning!) because I rushed for our defense presentation, chatted with my hot mama through ym, posted in myLot (earned $2 last night hehe) and organized some of my files.
I woke up at 7AM and everyone at home was surprised (I usually wake up around 10AM hehe lazy girl) and went straight to the computer to check some mails and rushed to a computer shop to print out some parts of our systems proposal. Jizela and I were nervous and we were the first duo to do a dance presentation..

Anyway, the presentation I'm talking about is our Systems Proposal Defense. Thank God the panelist were kind enough and didn't ask much question (only at the CBA part). Little revision is needed before we can have it binded. Our stat project is done too and saw some of the senior students again.. I'm starting to miss them especially Ate Lecel, Kuya Arvin and Kuya Jaypee.
Left Dagupan at 1:30Pm and presto! We're here in Manila by 6pm!
We'll be strolling around Ortigas tomorrow to check out the place where I'll be having my OJT. I'm a bit nervous though.. i dunno haha here i go again..

Wanna know what I'm doing right now aside from updating this blog?
- I'm chatting with my mom via YM and I'm happy that she knows how to use the computer (finally!). She also has a lot of friend requests and testimonials that she doesn't approve simply because she's only checking her yahoo mail and messenger. She checked this blog awhile ago and asked me if Carlo is getting fatter
- Making the Slide Presentation of our Systems Proposal for tomorrow. Jizela and I will be the second group to perform hehe :p I'm kinda nervous but I'm confident that we'll do good.
- Browsing through myBlogLog and I realized that people from different countries had been surfing around my blog and some of them even gave me some link love. Thnak you so much! I'll try to post English articles as much as possible
- Finished creating a blogsite for my brother. The Blog is called LovingCarlo (not much updates yet) and I made it through i.PH. I'm happy because some gave their comments in their previous post that they're willing to give me some space in their own sites if the project pushes through. I think it's time to promote autism here in the Philippines through posting our daily activities and much more. Carlo must be happy when he learns about this one
After our defense, I'll go straight to Manila and by Thursday we'll go to San Marcelino, Zambales for the holy week. Whew!
