The week is pretty exhausting one for me. I finally had my first day as an intern in an IT Company somewhere in Ortigas I took the three hours exam yesterday and started with work this morning.
Let me list down some of the things I've learned and I've experienced this day:
* Commuting : To be honest to my dear readers who never knew me personally, I am not really used to commuting. I just walk from our house to school. I seldom go out or go mallhopping because I'm quite lazy. I'd rather stay in an internet room and surf than go out and socialize.
I never thought that commuting is not really that easy. You have to beat the summer heat (and the Philippines is suffering from the super duper heat!) on your way to the workplace. I rode the MRT on my way to Ortigas at 8:30AM, which means its a rush hour. People from different offices in Ortigas are most likely comprising 1/4of the passengers. You can't really avoid pushing and being pushed. I was with a pregnant woman this morning and i was pretty nervous for her!
When I got down the train, I had to cross the overpass to go to the other side and walk to ADB Avenue. Summer heat summer heat! When I reached the workplace, I went straight to the comfort room and woah! mahangin ba sa labas? bagong ligo ba ako? hahaha 
Fixed myself so I'll be presentable enough to introduce myself to the rest of the employees of the company.
I was shy at first ( I am always shy FYI) and it seems like everyone is busy doing their own business. Thank God the people in the HR Department were very accomodating and even accompanied me to lunch. Went to St. Francis Square to eat and I bought a pair of shoes since I'm wounded-blame the high heels! I am not really comfortable with it - matangkad na nga ako magmumukha pa talaga akong poste hahaha :p
I won't elaborate further the stuff I'm doing in my Internship. I am actually a red-eyes zombie now and i am already feeling the need to buy my own eyeglasses (I had one last September 2005 and misplaced in a week after!). How much is the cheapest pair of eyeglasses? I'll just use my BlogToProfit Earning to purchase one.
On my way home, I realized a lot of things about myself-i can be independent now. I am happy because I'm learning a lot not just in the IT Field, but also in my capabilities as an individual.

Schumey- Ok will try to go there tomorrow. Grabe kanina almost everyone sa office red na ang mata.. When I was in my part time encoding job dati lagi din namumula mata ko so i asked my lolo if i should get my glasses na. nawala ko nga lang hehe oh well thanks for the warning!
Mats - hmmm.. yung sa tiangge ba safe? I mean tam ayung grado?

pasukat mo muna kung ilan. you can get frames naman from tiangge basta ask them kung pwede papalitan ng lenses. kapag pwede dalin mo agad sa RAON! mura pa! at makukuha agad!

Naku, Mica, alam mo, first time kong sumakay sa LRT three weeks ago when I went to Manila with Aypee and Gem.
Alam mo ba, isusumbong ko si Aypee sa iyo, iniwan niya ako- tumakbo na siya paakyat, hila hila ang kapatid, e di pa ako nakakalabas doon sa gate ba yun, yung isusuksok mo yung card. Bad talaga mga anak ko, niloloko-loko nila ako. Pero hindi rin nila ako maiwan, kasi nasa akin lahat ang pera! hahaha!

saan ka sa ortigas nagtatrabaho? Kahit mas mura ang MRT, hindi practical na maglakad na parang naliligo ka lagi (read: pinapawisan).
There are airconditioned shuttles from several parts of QC that goes straight to the heart of Ortigas. Para looking fresh and clean ka pa rin. 
Taking the bus also works. (it depends what part of ORtigas you go to, though)
I go to school in Ortigas. I used to take the train but it’s too tiring to walk sometimes, especially if it’s TOO DAMN HOT or if you’re walking alone.

Better take care of those beautiful eyes lest you end up blind. You can get a decent pair for P500. Try shopping around in SM Megamall for a pair. They have lots of optical shops there.
