It's the last week of April already! What is so special about this week? Pangasinense, especially the Dagupenos will be celebrating this year's Bangus Festival! This has been a happy event to my hometown because of the programs in stored for the people and the visitors.
Maybe you'd ask me what are the schedule of activities for this week in Dagupan? Well I don't know! hehehe I want to go back home for the festival and have fun but I can't Dagupena stucked in Manilenya's hometown lol).
One of the highlights in the yearly celebration is the Streetdancing. Some of my high school friends participated one time and they had fun (Don't ask me if I had fun-how I wish I was dancicng with them grrr). You'll see different teenagers from different schools dancing with flying giant milkfish with them :p
Wanna know the 100 Ways to cook Bangus? Eh di mag-aral ka haha just kidding They usually have this exhibit (painting? wehehe) on the different dishes with Bangus on it. I never went to Dagupan Astrodome for the event but I eat Dagupan Bangus (WTF? What am I typing? May sense pa ba?).
Another thing is the burning of milkfish in the street ala-death march noong panahon ng hapon hehehe just kidding Our City holds the record at the Guinness for the longest torture of milkfish in world history! (If Dagupenos will be reading this entry at this moment, will they ban me after?haha)
The one thing I'm anticipating is the street concert. I actually stopped going there last year because something bad happened to me two years ago. Don't ask me because I won't tell you unless lumuhod ka sa harapan ko at lumuha ng dugo o di kaya'y sumali ka sa death march ng mga bangus sa May 1 hehehe
Why did I post this article? Well I just want to show some love to this special celebration of my hometown. Sorry dahil halatang I'm ngarag in this post but its the "TOT" that counts, right?

Dagupan is a great place. Piso pa lang pamasahe noon. araw araw ako sa downtown iniikot. then punta sa bonuan at lumanghap ng hangin. Of course bangus here is the best. fresh kung sa hapon bibilhin sa palengke.

Pabaon- Wow for sure Dagupeno po kayo Ang naalala ko na pamasahe na naabutan ko is 1.50 pesos.. I’m not going tp Bonuan Beach anymore kasi.. basta hehe :p
