It was Monday morning when I decided to call my lolo and ask permission to go to Lipa city and visit my dear friend, Shyena. I was hesitant at first because I thought he wouldn't allow me because first, Sheyna is an online friend (but I consider her as one of my closest friends - Love this girl!), Second, I might not be able to go to work on time on Wednesday and Lastly, I'm going to Lipa City for the first time alone. I was surprised and happy when he finally said Yes but of course, there are conditions.
After work, I went straight to the condo to eat my early dinner and fix some of my stuff. I went to the bus station at 7PM (I could have reached the bus station earlier- blame ate lenny for insisting we should get a taxi yet we ended up riding a bus on our way to the bus station after an hour grrr). On my way to Batangas, I learned that it will only take you 11/2 hour to reach Lipa (How I wish Manila to Dagupan is that lapit din).
When I finally reached the bus stop, I went to the nearest Jollibee to get some drink and then Sheyna arrived. After a year of commenting to each other's LJ, Buzzing around YM and too much kadaldalan on our home phones, nagkita na rin kami! She's just as bubbly as she is in the internet and on the phone. Makulit at madaldal pa rin like me haha
I won't tell you the stuff we talked about that night haha
By the morning, I met her parents who were so nice to me and even asked me to comeback so that I can taste the Extra's Special Bulalo
They were so accomodating and made me feel at home
The three dogs named Turbo, Coco and Datu (unfortunately, Datu died 4 days after ). I realized that Pets can be so entertaining - yet i don't want to feed them LOL.
ChicoSci and Sandwich songs were being played and I learned a lot about Pinoy bands. She even gave me an autographed copy of Spongecola's Palabas album and errr… uhmmm.. wala lang hehehe Yael is HOT? lol
We went to St. Carmel Church. It is one of the cleanest and most peaceful church I've ever seen. I found out that monghas are the ones in charge of the beautification of the holy place.
We later went to San Sebastian Cathedral which I think is a very memorable place for her
Again, the church is clean and very peaceful. I am really amazed!
After lighting some candles for my wishes and to my beloved ones, We went straight to the nearest lomi-han so I can have a taste on one of Lipa City's Best hehe
Sheyna loves the Lomi kasi pampalaki daw ng hinaharap hehehe
After eating (ang bigat sa tiyan grabe!) , We went to the Community Park and met up with her parents. Ganda ng community park nila. There's an olympic size pool and stuff hehe but the spot that caught my attention is this certain "Bahay ni Ate" which looks a bit creepy yet amazing because it's made out of recycled materials.
I am actually looking forward to going back there again. Sheyna Marie Salamat!
