85%How Addicted to Blogging Are You?

 

I took an online quiz regarding "Blog Addiction" today and look at my score! I am 85% Addicted to Blogging! :)

While I was answering the 14 questions, it made me realize how 'addicted' i am to the internet. I started out with Yahoo clubs (now Yahoo Groups) then I started making fansites then I made my own personal webpage then I started to join forums and now, I am an active blogger and more income opportunities are coming because of this 'addiction'.

I can never forget the time I started to blog.

I've been an internet addict since I was ten years old and that is back in 1998. I would patiently line up at the school's internet cafe after my class and i do even escape from my school during recess time (20 minutes only) and instead of eating my merienda, there I am in the Internet Laboratory of the school library updating my spice girls Yahoo Clubs!

In Sophomore year, I made lots of fansites for the famous teenstars that time. A friend of mine suggested that I should make my own site as well.. so i did. I was a Geocities junkie. I'd spend my afternoons stealing HTML codes (haha whatta confession!), editing them and saving it for the whole world to see.

I started with my online journal that time. I would patiently fix my day-to-day updates with the use of HTML tags. Notepad was my bestfriend that time and up to this day, Notepad is the best!

I used to write short stories and poems regarding school and love. Those were the days when Mica was too idealistic with life. I was able to get over that stage and now, I am sharing my thoughts and sentiments through blogging.

I started blogging through my LJ Account in May 2004. This place is a witness on how I survived my college life and how I grew up from a dependent freshie to the more independent senior I am now.

I do love blogging. This is my medium for me to be heard by thousands of people. I wanted to be a writer back in high school but I didn't pursue with MassCom due to my father's objection. I am happy because I can still fulfill this dream through my blog and from the comments I've been receiving (especially from the moms and some young adults like me), I can now say that somehow, I have touched the lives of many. :)
