Bizaare Love Triangle: Bodie-GeeAnn and Mickey

Pinoy Big Brother Season two had been controversial because of the different conflicts and all that stuff. It did really justify the tag "Ang teleserye ng totoong buhay" because we had a number of fights and makeups. We had a bida, kontrabida, sidekick, underdog and of course, loveteams.

Aside from the Bruce-Wendy (Brendy) "You and Me Against The World", Robert and Saicy (ROICY) "Awitin mo at Isasayaw Ko" and Nel and Maricris' (MARINEL) "Hihintayin kita paglabas mo" story, the one that caught my attention is the blossoming of the Bodie-GeeAnn-Mickey "Bizaare love triangle".

In the beginning, most of the viewers of PBB found Gee-Ann's actions as 'weird'. She confessed to the public that she's a mother of eight kids and the eldest is 15 years old (named Pamela). Mickey at first was misunderstood. He was given a secret task pala by big brother to pretend that he can't speak tagalog or english when in reality, he can speak four languages: English, Filipino, German and French.

A couple of weeks after, four secret housemates went inside the house and one of them is the son of veteran actor Tirso Cruz III. His name is Bodie, a cum laude from la salle university who finished a degree in Computer Science and is working as a computer programmer in a multinational company. He is a self-confessed PBB Addict and he did audition for the show lining up like what the other auditioners did. No special treatment. No VIPs. The staff of the show then decided to put him as a part of the secret housemates and the public voted for whom they want to stay. Majority chose Bodie.

Bodie was quiet at first. Mickey became the leader of the group in most of the tasks. Gee-Ann was linked to Zeke and Kian and later on, to Mickey.

Then Bodie started to open up. Mickey and Gee-Ann became closer because of the bawas timbang task. Bodie started to meddle with everyone and popularized the "HUWAT?!?" expression.

Almost everyone thought that Gee-Ann had a crush on Mickey, but later on, Gee-Ann revealed that she had a crush on a guy na tatawagin na lang natin sa pangalang, PIOLO who turned out to be

BODIE.

Because of this revelation, the three created a buzz outside the house. Some wants the GeeMick (Geeann-Mickey) loveteam while the rest likes BOGEE (Bodie and Gee-Ann) teamup.

Because of the massive following of the two loveteams, ABS-CBN Decided to give them an acting break through Your Song (shown every Sundays after ASAP) entitled "Ale" taken from the popular song of "The Bloomfields".

To those who missed the episode, here it is!

To be honest, I prefer the BOGEE team-up hehe but instead of feeling sorry for the ending, I am all praises for the three showbiz newbies because they were able to do their job well. I've seen the other PBB graduates from the past seasons and if you'd compare them to BodGeeMick, it seems like this new trio is a stand out. More workshops and they can soon star in their own teleseryes.

Mickey has an expressive eyes and his charisma is different. He seems to be a quiet and reserved type of guy but when he's on the dancefloor, he's the king! He has to work on his tagalog first but overall, he's a good beginner.

Gee-Ann was a revelation in this episode. She seems to be shy on her tv guestings, but her personality flourished in the episode. She can start out in lighter roles to mature roles. She's really funny and cute! I haven't seen her cry in an episode, but with what I saw, she can be a good actress in the future.

Bodie Cruz had a shorter appearance compared to the three but for me, he stood out. Maybe it's on the genes. I wonder why he didn't push through with his acting career during his teenage years when in fact, he's an ANG TV kid. I hope that ABS-CBN can give him more projects that can make him develop his acting skills at hindi lang siya makikilala bilang anak ni Pip.
