A friend of mine approached me this afternoon:
"How's your thesis?" he asked.
"I have my title already" I replied.
"Done with Chapter 1?" he asked again.
"Not yet.. hopefully this weekend" i said.
"Today is August 6 and you're supposed to graduate by October. Aren't you making any move?" he asked in a fierce manner.
I've been wanting to accomplish a lot of stuff eversince I first stepped into college. I first planned to enter the school dance troupe (where i lasted a year) and later on, ventured into school politics. Then I aimed for a higher position and gave my best shot last year. It was a fulfilling experience to help our department rise in the sense that we actively participated in the school's Founder's Week last year. In the previous years, the College of Engineering and IT rarely shows up during department competitions. We made an effort by organizing the ECSSA Computer Quiz Bee and by selling Barbeque and Palamig at the Food Fest (where we ranked 3rd.. or 4th?). Aside from that, we had our film showing, animated school logo making contest (where no one registered LOL) and the PC games. My term as the Vice-Governor taught me a lot.
And now, I want to organize a blogging seminar here in Dagupan.
And I am doing my thesis in solo flight (yes.. solo and i haven't done anything!)
And I am maintaining blogs and an active forumer
And I also have my part time business.
My business partner asked me about my thesis. When I told him that I only have a thesis title at the moment, he gave me an advice:
"You should have self management. Set your limitations and have discipline. You should know your priorities in your life. You have more time to be busy with your recreational activities soon, but your thesis making is only until October. You don't want to re-enroll next semester for your intech project, Do You?"
"No! No way!" I said.
"Then manage your time! do the right things right now."
I guess he's right.. He really is.
You’re almost at the end of your long educational journey. The years of hard work and the only treasure your parents can give should not go to waste. You’ll have more time for yourself after you graduate. You wouldn’t want to disappoint Carlo do you?
Now move your butt, anak. Show the world what you’re really made of.

Aim high but shoot low, it is much better to accomplish little task, it feels good on your side knowing that you done it, be realistic in put up goals to achieve, it is not bad to look at the big picture, just make sure you’ll be able to pull it off…
