Among the former female stars who portrayed this role are Alma Moreno, Charlene Gonzales and Vilma Santos. Dingdong Dantes plays Fredo in this show, which means we’ll be witnessing another DongYan tandem. The TV Show Marimar is about to end by March. My Bestfriend’s Girlfriend is also a big hit. She’s also the new endorser of Sunsilk. She’s also featured in the March issue of Marie Claire. Woah! She’s really a big star now!
FHM Philippines’ sexiest pinay Katrina Halili recently launched her intimate lingerie line called PLAYMATES. It will be available soon on her official website, http://www.katrinahalili.com.ph . Her much-hated character Angelika Santibanez is about to say goodbye by this coming March. Her next show? We still don’t know. There are rumours that she is being considered to play the role of Darna in the upcoming show "Captain Barbell Meets Darna". The fans want her to do the remake of Angela Markado, which was originally played by Hilda Koronel. Hope she’ll be able to do both!
Ara Mina’s controversial younger sister Cristine Reyes is in the tabloid these days. There are rumours circulating that she and Dennis Trillo got back together. There are some articles linking her to Willie Revillame and she did even guested in his noontime shiw last Saturday. I just read an article that she’ll be a kapamilya soon and her first show is the remake of Eva Fonda, 16 which was originally played by Alma Moreno. She’s also included in the gag show Banana Splits with other ex-kapuso actresses. Her movie with sister Ara Mina called Ate will be shown on March 5 in all SM Cinemas nationwide.
Is Anne Curtis really going back to the kapuso station to play the role of Darna in Captain Barbell Meets Darna? I don’t think so. She recently renewed her contract with ABS-CBN and is set to do another fantaserye after the primetime bida show Maging Sino Ka Man Book 2. She’s currently shooting a movie with Aga Mulach entitled Waiting For Love, which is a co-venture of Viva Films and Star Cinema. She is also UNO Magazine’s Calendar Girl for 2008.
Iwa Moto is sizzling hot these days with her role as a bar dancer in Joaquin Bordado, a role that is originally offered to Cristine Reyes. Late last year, she did a pictorial for FHM Singapore and she’s also the Numero UNO Babe of the year of UNO Magazine. We are hoping that she’ll do a movie soon. She deserves it.
Last year, I wrote an entry about my Jollibee Valentine date with Carlo. I’ve been celebrating the “day for the lovers” with Carlo since I stepped into college. I hated so much on how the media sensationalizes February 14 that even forces some ex-lovers to get back together and how it makes the heartbroken ones very miserable.
Where was I last February 14?
Since Carlo is now in England, I thought of an activity that can make this day special.
I went to GMA-7 that morning to watch the morning show SIS on the studio. The guests include Ella V and Boyfriend, Gian Magdangal and Sheree and doctors in love Dr. Hayden Kho Jr. and Dra. Vicky Belo.
I went straight home afterwards only to see Kenjo at the lobby. She complains that she can’t stay home because it reminds her of her ex-boyfriend. We strolled around Greenhills and went home at 6pm to take a shower and prepare for Katrina Halili’s Intimate Fantasies Fashion Show at Serve Bar, Araneta.

It’s been a week (well.. almost!) since Carlo, Ate Virgie and Lolo left for England. Lolo will be back by the 24th, Ate Virgie will be back after a year and Carlo might stay there for good.
I decided not to go with them in the airport last Sunday for the reason that I don’t want this moment to be hard for the both of us. I’ve imagined the scene that might possibly if I went with them - he will pull me down the car and invite me to go with him inside the airport. I took my friend’s advise to just let him ride the car and that’s it.
That afternoon, I went to Jollibee with Kenjo to buy Carlo’s favorite foods from Jollibee- Spagetti, ChickenJoy, French Fries, Coke, Ice Cream and Cheeseburger. Believe it or not, he was able to finish the whole thing in 9 minutes! I have a video hereon my phone to prove that. I also went to Greenhills tiangge to search for a small pillow that Carlo can bring with him to England. I was irritated when all i saw was Hello Kitty Pillows. Ayoko naman siyang bigyan ng Hello Kitty Stuff baka ibato lang nya. Thank God I found this huggable Spongebob Squarepants pillow and i bought it kahit na mahal.
* Carlo, Ate Virgie and Lolo arrived safely in Birmingham last night at 9:30pm (Philippine Time.. Go convert haha). According to my mom, Carlo was quiet and shocked upon seeing where he is but as usual, he ate a lot of spagetti when they had lunch 
I will be missing my brother so much. To be honest, I think i’m not yet ready to go back to Dagupan. It seems like every part of the house reminds me of my baby brother. I might end up crying again.

* I had a happy dinner last friday with my a-hia and some of my friends. I will be posting more about it soon.
