Late February last year, I found out that another Filipina Writing Project is on the works. The said writing project was launched to promote Women’s Month and at the same time redefine the image of a Filipina. It was held last Saturday, March 29 at Hall 3, SMX Convention Center, Bay Area, Pasig City.
To be honest, I failed to submit an entry in the contest. I was so uninspired days before the deadline. I missed my chance to win a brand new iPod LOL :p
Through this post, I would like to congratulate everyone who participated in the event especially the top three winners!
I was able to get my wikipilipinas buttons and my own pink wikipilipinas shirt. I also kept some brochures from different companies and my own wiki mag.
I was able to meet some bloggers like Ms. Noemi, Nice and Edel. SexyMom, my online mommy invited me to come. I also had the chance to bond with Mr. Racoma (Mr. SexyDad? wehehe) , BA, BA’s friend who’s taking up Film and Alan Jr. I was with them during the earth hour 2008 (How I wish the headlights of the vehicles are included LOL) and when they shopped for chocolates
All in all, it was a fun and relaxing day. I realized that attending in events such as this one (even if you’re late LOL) is worth the time. I’m looking forward to more blog-related events!
Special thanks to WikiPilipinas, Filipiniana and FilipinaImages.
My cousin Joanna graduated from college three years ago and is now working as a pharmacy technician abroad. She finds her job as a fulfilling one because she really loves to serve other people and is really interested in medicine. We all know that medical jobs are very much in demand nowadays and taking up a course in pharmacy tech is a wise move. I saw this website called Medical-Career-Training where all the information you might need to know about pharmacy related stuff such as pharmacy technician salary is being discussed. Check out their cool and easy to navigate website now!
