Saying NO to Drugs

April 18, 2008

Reuniting with your college batchmates can be a night full of revelations. Sometimes, we can’t help but recall all the happy and hurtful events that occured during your four year period in school (or more for some especially the shifters).

I am not planning to reveal everything we’ve talked about last night because some of the details are confidential, but i’ll be sharing this experience that my classmate had when he was still a rebellious son.

He admitted to us that he tried drugs. Specifically, Marijuana. He said that he tried it out of peer pressure and curiosity. He didn’t appreciate the feeling at first, but on his second take, he claimed that he felt a piece of "heaven".

There was a time wherein he and his peers tried it out in their house. A cousin was present too (he’s not into drugs). The group got paranoid when a motorcycle passed by infront of their house and they claimed that it was noisy. But based on his cousin’s normal hearing, it is not really that noisy.. not even annoying.

It was during that time that he decided not to continue with this vice. He also asked his friends to stop taking it because it’s dangerous. All of them stopped except for one. What happened?  It came to the point that he had to undergo a rehabilitation program.

If you’re into drugs as of the moment and you really want to change for the better but you don’t know how, we have here a list of drug rehabs that can help you out. Don’t be afraid. Change for the better.
