Volunteer Actors and Production Team Members Needed!

Want to know the reason why I exert so much effort travelling from Dagupan to Manila going back and forth every weekend?

I am currently enrolled in a basic scriptwriting and alternative production workshop under Sinelab. To be able to graduate, we are required to submit our very own short movie and we are now in pre-production (hooray!)

I’ve proudly finished the script of my first ever short movie tentatively entitled “Kuya Bunso”. It is basically a story about a sister’s love to her older autistic brother – the love, the sacrifices and all that.

I NEED ACTORS! (Bloggers are good actors, right?)

I am now looking for volunteer actors and members of the production team. Volunteer means you are willing to help me out with this. I don’t really have enough money for talent fees, but I can provide for your transportation expenses and food.

I am lucky because a good friend of mine volunteered to play the lead female rode for free but I can’t mention her name here yet.

I am now looking for a good actor who can play the role of the autistic brother named Jonas. If possible, I am looking for someone who can draw or paint building structures. Below are the cast and characters of the upcoming short movie written, produced and directed by micamyx :p

 

MAJOR CHARACTER

JONAS  - autistic brother of Jackie

 22 years old, charming, at least 5’7, inosente ang dating, artistic, music lover, malambing

MINOR CHARACTERS

ROSE-  bestfriend of Jackie

17 years old, kikay, friendly, fun to be with

PONG – Arrogant suitor of Jackie

20 years old, mayabang, arogante

UNO – Cousin of Jonas and Jackie

20 years old, lasenggo, may pagka-timang

JAM –Cousin of Jonas and Jackie

22 years old, lasenga, boyish, has a strong personality

UNCLE RAY – Uncle of Jonas and Jackie

40 years old, lasenggo, matured looking

CHISMOSA #1 – 40 years old woman

CHISMOSA #2 – 40 years old woman

WAITER – 20 years old, male
