Random Thoughts on a Windy Night

May 18, 2008

·

  • ·         Yesterday, I travelled from Dagupan to Manila. It was declared that Pangasinan is included in the provinces suffering from Signal # 2 but that did not stop me. Thank God I had a safe trip.
  • ·         I can say that I have a mild phobia on taxi drivers. I had a number of bad encounters with taxi drivers and I am planning to make a separate entry on that.
  • ·         I went to MetroBar West Avenue for the first time. The resident comedians that night were awesome! !
  • ·         Ronnie Liang is now my #1 favorite male singer in the country (sorry Christian Bautista LOL). When he performed onstage, I realized that he is now a better performer compared to his PDA days. Gusto Kita and Ngiti are two of my favorite OPM songs of all time and yes, he is tall and handsome!
  • ·         Yasmien Kurdi is bubbly onstage. She is a pretty girl too! She performed three songs and I will make a confession now: I Love Yasmien Kurdi’s songs. I even sang the song In The Name of Love on my seat while she’s performing. Ginawa ko pang mic yung cellphone ko  haha :p
  • ·         Bodie Cruz looks so much better today. He sang four songs and I love his version of “This Love” of Maroon 5. He gladly went to our seat and even took pictures with us. The best thing about him is that he doesn’t treat us as “fans” but as “friends”. He even greeted me on my birthday! I actually missed him waaah and yes, he is much more gwapo ! Weee :p

  • ·         I Love The Cruz Family – Tito Pip, Tita Lyn, TJ, Bodie and Dadj. Why? Simply because they are fun to be with and they treat us as their extended family.
  • ·         I saw PBB Graduates like Mommies Ghie and Yen, Beatriz Saw (who really looked like Maki! ), Mickey Perz, Gee-Ann Abrahan, Bruce Quebral and Wendy Valdez. I love Brendy now :p
  • ·         When I got home, Ate Lenny informed me about my grandfather’s call. Up to this day, there’s no electricity in Dagupan and the strong wind caused the trees to fall down. The roof of the other building is already at our terrace. Rain Water invaded our home and even our favorite dining room furniture was destroyed. The saddest thing there is my lolo is alone.
  • ·         My lolo called me up this morning and informed me about what happened. I actually feel guilty about the whole thing. I wanted to go back home but then I thought of my lola who is arriving here at the condo from Bicol.
  • ·         Attended my last session with Sinelab. Sir Melchor, Sir Mike and the rest of Sinelab Batch 7 had our workshop in Figaro Trinoma Branch. I am really happy and satisfied with the results of the workshop. Now, I know how to write a script properly. We will be having our graduation by July and we will all be working on our short movies soon. I’m pretty excited.  :)
  • ·         I have to finish a lot of writing stuff – furnish the final script, finalize my project proposal in school and my writing gig.
  • ·         It’s Dr. Hayden Kho’s Birthday on Tuesday. More blog events this week too!
