It’s been almost a week already since Cosme passed by my beloved province, Pangasinan. I am really sad and disappointed with the outcome of this tragedic event.
I left Dagupan last Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 10:15am. The wind was already strong yet there’s no rain. It was reported on tv that Pangasinan is experiencing Signal #2. I didn’t worry much so I left the province by myself.
When arrived here in Manila at around 4:30pm, My lolo informed us that there’s no electricity in Dagupan and that Ate Betty left (she goes home every sundays and wednesdays).
I was a bit worried already and yes, guilty. I could have stayed there with him, but the i had to attend the concert a friend of mine produced and it’s the last day of my workshop on Sunday.
On my way to the concert, the rain was pouring hard. I was nervous and uneasy. Thank God the performers that night were great and they swept my worries away.
When I arrived here in the condo, Ate Lenny informed me about Lolo’s call. He even exclaimed that it was the strongest and the worst he had ever experienced.
