Ten years ago, I was busy collecting some centennial memorabilias - t-shirts, buttons, mugs, notebooks, posters etc. I was eleven years old at that time.
Today, we are celebrating the 110th year of Philippine Independence. I was busy "plurking" the whole day using the Filipino language. I originally planned to make an entry using the Filipino language but because of used cisco , I have to blog in english.
So what are the latest news updates about the country?
* The last day of Rudy "Daboy" Fernandez was a blockbuster hit.
* Ces Drilon together with two cameraman and a univeristy professor was kidnapped by the ASG.
* The price of petroleum gas increased once again.
* 50+ newborn kids died in a hospital in Makati
* The sister of a politician physically abused her maid.
* A popular actress filed a case against her sister-in-law
and more and more and more bad news.
In TV Patrol Dagupan, they don’t only share bad news. Last Monday, my friend Renz Posedio with the rest of the Mouse House crew had a mini-pictorial in the streets of Dagupan and TV Patrol featured them. Here are some of the photos:
Just like my brother Carlo, I am also fascinated with the Philippine Flag. In fact, i took some photos in my mobile phone with the flag giveaway of Mercury Drug.
They should have painted their eyeballs too to make it more realistic

too many things happening. while the govt moved the holiday to the 9th, still the celebrations were on the 12th? what gives? why did the govt do that? now as BA said, kids will be confused, as to when is really ID and what is it celebrated for.
anyway, life goes on, i can just hope that the day will come when the filiino will really be independent. mabuhay ang piipinas.
