I went to school awhile ago to visit some of my former teachers and to fix some stuff. Everybody knows that I graduated with BS in Information Technology and if given the chance, I would like to work in a reputable web company where I can enhance my skills in this field.
To be honest, a part of me also wants to try teaching even for just one semester. A part of me wants to impart my knowledge on my field of expertise (Twitting and Plurking! LOL). I do admit that I am not the best person you can rely on when it comes to Networking, CoA and programming. I don’t even know what CAT6 means until I asked my former classmate turned instructor Jaypee.
I am still torn between two careers – Teaching or IT-Related (QA, Web etc)?
Two locations – Dagupan or Manila?
Two workloads – Fulltime or Parttime?
I am hoping to come up with a good decision this time. Help me.
@philos - now i am more confused! i hate you! :p

Teaching doesn’t pay too well. Focus on earning money now and you’ll have more options later.
Hey Josh, you have your point there. Is that really you?!?!
Maybe. You’d never know
you can do both simultaneously. you can work in an IT company and then teach in your free time, after work or during weekends, maybe. that’s what some of my colleagues do.

@joyfulchicken - nah, it’s you
@littlelight - thanks, but the actual problem is the distance. teaching job is in dagupan while all the IT companies where i want to work with are in manila. i’ve decided just now
@jane - tama!

Go! Teach! And then you’ll discover that it’s much more fun earning mucho dineros with top IT companies than teaching hehe…
