Please do vote for my dear friend Jade Lopez in the reality tv contest “Kung Ako Ikaw” starting tonight at 10:30PM.

Btw, Jade Lopez gave me a spoiler but informing me that Adobong Daga is delicious LOL
She will soon appear in the primetime show Ako si Kim Sam Soon.
I am playing the Spice Girls song “Saturday Night Divas” as I type this entry.
I was a bit tired when I got out of work. Cai and I planned to meet up in Glorietta but I decided to go back home and meet up with Ate Lenny since I was carrying my oh-so-heavy laptop. We met up in Mc Do MRT Ayala station and went to Glorietta.
I was really hungry that time and I wanted to eat rice so we ended up eating at Gerry’s Grill. We ordered their Sizzling Sisig (the specialty), Chicken Kebab, one pitcher of iced tea and the blue margarita (not sure with the name LOL).
We really enjoyed eating last night and I want to go back there soon!
Next, we went to Greenhills to drink coffee at Starbucks (Theater Mall). How we wish Maki was there.
Since we are all concentrating on our respective careers, going out with your friends on a saturday night is not a bad idea at all. We are planning to go barhopping when we have enough money to spend. I am not really a fan of alcoholic drinks, but surfing around this wine of the month clubs made me feel a bit curious about wines and stuff.
How do you usually spend your saturday night with friends?
I’ve been a fan of “Billy Joe” since I was four years old. I remember watching That’s Entertainment in the afternoon with my yaya just to take a glimpse of him. He was indeed one of the cutest and brightest child stars of his time. I was able to watch his movie about lost aileens on earth “Eh Kasi Bata!” with La Greta way back in the early 90’s.
He suddenly left the Philippines at the peak of his career to migrate with his family to Texas. He continued to hone his talent in singing and dancing and later on joined a number of talent shows and won in most of them.
He became a recording star in 1999 and he made it big in European countries with his hit singles Urgently in Love and Mary Lopez.
In 2001, he released his second album called Ride, where my high school favorite dance song Trackin was taken. The single was still a big hit in Europe and in the Philippines. He later on went back onscreen as an actor in the movie The Exorcist in 2003 and won several music awards.
The third album was released in 2004. He worked with a number of good international producers in the american music industry and the product? Bright Lights. It contains the hot and sexy songs “Bright Lights” and “Steamy Nights” (hola hola hola :p )
He went back in the country last year to host the first kapuso dance reality search MOVE: The Search for Billy Crawford’s Pinoy Dancers and staged his major concert in Araneta Coliseum. He was also given a slot at the Eastwood Walk of Fame and I think he is the youngest star included in there to date.
He recently became the talk of the town because of his sudden transfer from kapuso to kapamilya. For me, that is simply a career move. He doesn’t have any existing contract with GMA-7 before he signed up with ABS-CBN anyway.
As one of Billy’s “Silent” fans, I was able to notice something particularly his hair: He has lesser hair near his forehead nowadays as the result if his constant usage of caps for his tours and performances. I think he is open with the idea of undergoing a hair transplant procedure since he one of the newest endorsers of Belo Medical Group .

He used to perform onstage wearing his hippie caps
September 6, 2008 is a special day for bloggers especially to Wordpress lovers out there because the Philippines will host the Wordcamp for this year!

Is that for real? Yes it is!
I first heard about two months ago at Twitter. Davao-based bloggers Ria Jose and Blogie mentioned it in one of their tweets (Plurk was not yet up that time - i think LOL) and they were looking for sponsors. I am glad that i.PH, my lovable blog host will be one of the sponsors of the event. I am also using wordpress for Missing Carlo and for my five other fan blogs.
Definitely, the campers will have a busy yet fulfilling Saturday on September 6, 2008 at the De La Salle University CSB Taft Ave., Manila. Freebies will also be given as remembrance.
The Wordcamp Philippines 2008 event is organized by the hardworking Mindanao Bloggers.
Special thanks to the following for sponsoring the event:
I would like to thank the person behind the tnomeralc web design toys for giving me some books related to blogging and web design during the event.
