The Hilt Media Launch

When Coy and Poyt posted about TheHilt event on their blogs, i immediately got interested. They offer a variety of activities designed for single individuals who wants to have fun on weekends.

I attended The Hilt Media Launch last September 12, 2008 at PETA Theater. I was running late because I came all the way from SMX for an event for Special Children.

Anyways, I was a bit surprised when I got in the place. The organizers looked like doctors and nurses and we became their patient. All the single peepz who entered the “hospital” must be cured ASAP with any of the three treatments: Poker, Billiards or Palm Reading.

Since I don’t really know how to place a bet in poker and play with billiard balls, I went to the Palm Reading Sessions and I learned a lot. I admit that the readings are somewhat true, but errr… basta

Next, we went to the Billiards we were taught of different techniques. So there hehe. I wonder if such event occurs in cruises? I bet that would be great!  

I did not attend the Poker part because of the consequence hehe

So far, so good I enjoyed the media launch of TheHilt. I would love to go there soon.

And yup, the bloggers got one bottle of wine each for free!

Bayantel’s Biggest Bill Loser

One Tuesday night, a number of bloggers attended the launch of Bayantel’s Biggest Bill Loser at Mag:Net Cafe (my favorite!) at Bonifacio High Street.

So what is this Biggest Bill Loser thing by Bayantel? It is basically a competition between four busy individuals: Sales Executive Darwin “The Babe Magnet” Carpio (whom I saw first at the Pick Manila event), businesswoman by day, mom at night Janice “Super Mommy” Villanueva, Popular radio DJ Boom “The Techie” Gonzales” and TV Celebrity and now blogger RJ “The Big Kahuna” Ledesma.

All of them are certified cellphone addicts whose phone bills usually ranges from Php 3,000 to Php 5,000. Whew! I bet the four can buy some good Panasonic digital cameras with their phone bill money!

To summarize everything, RJ Ledesma won the challenge.Special thanks to Bayantel WIRELESS Landline!

Wii Night at FriiSpirit

After attending the media launch of The Hilt, I, together with the rest of the bloggers went straight to FriiSpirit located at G/F One Burgandy Plaza, Katipunan Ave., Loyola Heights, QC to celebrate Jehzlau’s birthday LOL

   We arrived on the venue at around 1AM and we missed some of the bloggers. I am not really fond of such activity, but I can’t deny the fact that I enjoyed playing that night. Is it because of the company? I guess so. 

   I was able to play the some games wherein all i did was press the buttons haha (hindi talaga ako palalaro LOL) but then I love guitar hero. I will play this game again if given the chance. Hmmm… what about a Wii Night featuring bloggers wearing Halloween costumes? What do you think? *wink*

California Pizza Kitchen

It was a rainy wednesday night. I was eager to get out of the office and proceed asap to Glorietta 4 to attend the event for bloggers by California Pizza Kitchen.

I was a bit late and a lot of bloggers were inside the branch already. It was my first time ever to a CPK branch and I am happy because we were all given a chance to make our own pizza. I was able to make the Tostado pizza, which is most recommended to the vegetarians out there.

To be honest, I felt like a little kid again that night. Why? There was this little game wherein the bloggers were asked to write their most seductive pick-up line in the pizza box complete with art stuff and all that. I remember asking one of my “classmates” about diet pill reviews found online. Why? hmmm.. My highschool batchmate texted me that moment about diet pills LOL haha. Oh well. Almost everyone worked on their pizza art work. Feeling back to art class kaming lahat LOL. I also loved the black cap and I even ended up wearing it the entire night.

                * Si Coy ang isa sa mga kauna-unahang blogista na nakilala ko sa talang buhay ko. Naalala ko pa noon kasama ko ang mga kaklase ko galing Dagupan na dumalo sa Y4IT.
