Last Saturday, Winston, Jeff, Drew and I celebrated Black Saturday in a videoke place. We were singing non-stop for three hours singing different songs from Bonnie Bailey’os Ever After to Ne-Yo’s So Sick to The Corrs’ Only When I Sleep to my favorite Southborder song entitled “Sweet”, which is a collaboration with Freestyle’s Jinky Vidal.
The video features some of the Filipina women whom i do really think best represents the race. It’s not the usual mestizas that you see on tv. Not only that, the girls are truly sexy. It seems like they don’t really need to buy the best diet pills ever LOL.
What is your favorite Southborder hit and why?
In high school, i was lucky enough to join the yearly field trips. One of our destinations when we were in second year high school is in Marikina City, where the so-called “Biggest Shoe in the Philippines” is found.
Weeks ago, my blogger friends and i went to the same place and saw the pride of Marikina. The shoe’s design is quite similar to a Dansko. I want to buy a new pair of shoes. I need to unleash the imeldific in me and get rid of the flipflops and rubbershoes.
Just read the blog entry of my friend about her experience at Blue Water Day Spa, where giant stars Piolo Pascual and Marian Rivera are endorsers. I am really fascinated with its newest offering wherein one of their branches has this very comfortable home theater chairs and you can watch a good movie while having a footspa or massage! I am planning to try it out once I have the time to pamper myself.
My current LSS or Last Song Syndrome is Craig David’s Insomnia. All the while, I thought Ne-Yo sang the hit lol. I am actually a big fan of Craig David especially when he came up with the hit song “What’s your flava?” way back when I was still in high school. Nice to see that his comeback move is a major success. He even went here to the Philippines last month to perform at Araneta Center and make his fans happy.
Anyway, I am suffering from insomnia as i am searching for the best wrinkle cream for my mom. She’s complaining that she’s getting a lot of wrinkles as she ages. Maybe that is the best mother’s day gift for her 
I had a small chat with my mom this morning. As all my readers know, my loving mom and brother are now based in England. We updated each other with the latest developments in our respective careers as well as Carlo’s current standing in special school.
Last week, they moved to another house. This time it is bigger and they have a number of Filipina boarders who are also working as nurses and caregivers. My mom decided to buy new stuff from an online website to be placed in the master’s bedroom.
My mom is very fond of baskets eversince she was still based here in the Philippines. She bought two very stylish laundry baskets - one for her and one for my brother. I really love the design and even asked her to get one for me as I also plan to stay in England for a couple of months by next year.
She also showed a handwoven log basket that she also bought online. She recently bought another one to be given to her best friend there and one for a doctor. The log basket is made from natural materials, which add both a stylish and practical touch in the new living room. She also mentioned that Carlo chose the one to be placed on the living room. It seems like my brother has good taste!
Now, she wants me to pick among the following lamp shades . It’s so hard to pick since the choices are all beautiful and very classic-looking! I personally love the Satin pin-tuck shade. Upon looking at the lamp shades, I realized that a person’s choice of lamp shades reflects his/her personality. My choice explains how simple and neat I am. My mom wanted to get the Dupion silk square shade. I think that explains how authoritative she is and how she is in control.
I am really excited because my mom told me that she’ll be sending some photos taken on the new house. They bought a lot of new things for the new house and sold the old ones.
