December is fast approaching and so does the holiday shopping madness! Since my aunt is a big fan of holiday sale, i went with her one time last year. She bought a lot of stuff - from beauty products to mattresses to electronic gadgets to furnitures - and the list goes on and on and on! I am also excited because she promised to give me a gift certificate from my favorite boutique as a prize for being a good girl this year
Just this morning, I rode a jeepney. It’s been a long time since I rode a jeepney. Three months? Yeah. I am more of a taxi or MRT girl now. I am Miss Instant and I hate waiting for hours. The lady beside me in the jeepney was selling cigars to another passenger. A kid sells menthol candies and another lady sells sampaguita. If only the politicians in this country see the real condition of their municipalities.
I first had my Computer Subject when I was in Grade 1. I remember holding a Verbatim Floppy Disk and a Pink Diskette to class. The computers at the Computer Laboratory are pretty big and dusty. My teacher taught us how to access Typing Tutor and Print Shop. I remember smiling really hard when I topped at the Typing Tutor test. I gave my first Print Shop Card to my parents. Now, we don’t use Floppy Disks and Diskettes anymore. I have a feeling that USB drives will also be obsolete in two or three years.
Yehey! Our very own Manny Pacquiao won against Puerto Rican boxer Miguel Cotto! As expected, there were less traffic and pollution that day. I went to World Trade Center to give a talk at the iBlogMini. I saw a number of items there including some cars, gadgets, tv sets and even humidifier filters . Too bad i don’t have my own credit card yet. Boo!
Btw, I am saving up for a new gadget. I’m not going out of town this month as i have to save up for my trip to Davao on December. I am excited!
I’ve been reading a lot of blog entries about the Black Friday 2009. I found out just now that this is usually celebrated in the US by the shopaholics every Last Friday of November. Why? Because in this day, all of the shops in the US are on sale. It means that they have promotional items up for grabs! Here in the Philippines, our malls have holiday sales. I wonder if the prices there and here or should i say the discount is just the same.
