I was browsing through a number of job-seeking sites and I noticed that there is a big demand for sales jobs especially in Asia. This is a good sign to the fresh graduates who would like to pursue a career in marketing. I was once employed to in a popular company to work with their sales team. It was a good learning experience because I was able to gain knowledge on the different strokes of marketing.
Before I graduated from college, one aunt of mine asked me to buy a domain and at the same time make a template for her insurance blogs. A friend of her suggested that she can get more potential clients if she starts her very own insurance blog where she can discuss more further on stuff such as the different types of insurance (surprisingly, there’s a lot!) and a separate page about auto insurance claim. Working for her in this project didn’t only added value to my online services, but it also helped broaden my knowledge on the importance of insurance. I am planning of getting one, but I need to get a higher paying job first. Getting an insurance make someone feel secured. I’d like to feel that security. I simply need to.
My cousin who is based in the United States asked for my help yesterday night. She asked me too look for the best lsat prep website. Her sister-in-law is in need of one and she revealed that she’s been to one, but the parents are not satisfied with the personal feedback coming from other parents who enrolled their kids in the said school. As a very reliable netizen (ahem
) I recommended that they check out Knewton’s online courses. So far, they’re impressed with what’s written in the website. I am hoping that my recommendation helps!
Last Saturday, Bryan Karl and I went to Be Resorts in Mactan, Cebu. We went there for a lunch meet-up with one of their PR officers and at the same time, we were given the chance to go around and explore the whole resort. It is noticeable in the lobby that there are patio furniture cushions and several hip furnitures created by world renowned Cebuano furniture designers. I really find it as one of the best ways in promoting Philippine furniture abroad. We have so many talented Filipino furniture designers and I am impressed that the owners of the resort (which was dominated by Koreans when we went there) thought of this idea. It made me want to buy a furniture too!
