Last Saturday, Bryan Karl and I went to Be Resorts in Mactan, Cebu. We went there for a lunch meet-up with one of their PR officers and at the same time, we were given the chance to go around and explore the whole resort. It is noticeable in the lobby that there are patio furniture cushions and several hip furnitures created by world renowned Cebuano furniture designers. I really find it as one of the best ways in promoting Philippine furniture abroad. We have so many talented Filipino furniture designers and I am impressed that the owners of the resort (which was dominated by Koreans when we went there) thought of this idea. It made me want to buy a furniture too!
