It is already a tradition of some companies to celebrate their Christmas Party with co-employees. Aside from the food and games, there is an obligatory exchange gifts. Two years ago, we had this exchange gifts with other departments. Instead of placing our real names, we used some local celebrity names as identities. We were also asked to write our very own wishlist to the bulletin board. The person i picked who had the nickname ‘Sarsi Emmanuel’ wrote the following on her list: The Beatles Greatest Hits CD,fat burner and SM Department Store Gift Certificate. I ended up giving her the latter so she can go and buy the stuff she wants with the indicated price. I think that is more practical. I’m glad she liked it and even thanked me for it.
My mom asked me what i want as an advanced birthday gift. Even if my birthday is five months away, my mom wants to buy me a gift already especially now that i am here in England. She wanted to buy me a new mobile phone, but i told her that it will be more practical for me to get a new laptop since i’ll be needing it for my online work and for video editing purposes.
Yesterday, we went to Clock Towers to check out the laptops being sold on a discounted price. I am torn between two lovely models and i have three days left to decide on which laptop to get. Can you help me out decide?
Although i am staying in the Philippines, i was able to get some items during the Black Friday season last year. How? I asked my cousins who are based somewhere in the US of A to download some discount coupons so they can purchase the stuff i want. My aunt told me that the Balikbayan Box finally arrived containing some of the items bought. I payed them through Paypal and since they’re certified shopaholics, they lined up in the stores as early as 5AM in order to enter the shopping center earlier compared to the rest. Good job!
