When I was a younger kid, I was a competitive kid - in terms of academmic standing, at least. My parents didn’t force me to be one, but I guess my eagerness to improve made me one of the smartest kid in class.
Some parents do take these things seriously. They even end up hurting their kids physically or emotionally just to push them and fexcel in class.During those days, I really tried my best in all of my subjects. I loved the fact that I was collecting trophies and awards from quiz bees, competitions and recognitions. All of it changed when I stepped to Grade 5. It was then i realized that real life is more important than being in a dean’s lister.
