My cousin informed me that my uncle is coming to Manila soon. He’s been living in Dumaguete for the past fifteen years and I haven’t really heard from him that much. All I can recall is that he used to cook good food for us whenever he’s in Pangasinan. He works as a medical representative and he was relocated in Dumaguete. He’ll bring with him his longtime girlfriend and I bet they’re engaged by now. I hope!
We were looking for the perfect gift for him since he’s also celebrating his birthday this Friday. We thought of getting rfid blocking wallets. I think he’ll appreciate it since he’s also a businessman. Must plan this!
I went to the mall with my friend Kenjo yesterday. We went to the newest nail salon and tried their pedicure. Apparently, Kenjo won in a contest and she won some gift certificates. Lucky her!
She told me storie about this guy she’s been seeing for the past few months and she thinks they’re meant for each other. He is into the food business and based on the picture i saw, it seems like he’s a nice guy. You can already see the businessman aura in him which means he is one fella who rarely takes breaks.
For the birthday gift, i picked bulova watch as a metaphor too that he must make quality time with her on weekends hehe. Kenjo claimed her commission from her freelance work and she even bought one dress for me. What a nice friend!
It is already a given fact that the Philippines is experiencing an unpredictable weather when the months June-September strikes. Typhoons might cause floods and landslides, which might end in a disaster in some areas. It is advisable to be ready by having enough stock of food at home. You must also keep some spare vtech batteries so that when the need arises, there is no need to panic. Better be sure and prepared than feel sorry later on. Makes sense, right?
Anyway, I decided to buy some canned goods and powdered juice (orange and strawberry-flavored), coffee, tea and chocolate too. I was able to get some biscuits and chips. That’s all
The Halloween season is three months away, but my cosplayer friend is now thinking of her Halloween costume for this year. It’s been her tradition to attend in several parties and she even had a TV guesting in a local talk show last year. Right now, she is helping out her cousin make Halloween invitations for kids. Apparently, the cousin is working for a clothing brand that targets the teenage populace. I guess she’ll be performing a cosplay act too.
When was the last time I dressed up for a halloween party? I think the last one was when I was in Grade 6 and we were all required to wear one. Those were the days wherein kids would do trick or treats and really enjoy parties. It’s a lot different when you’re older.
I am happy to know that one of my long lost classmate in Elementary is doing well in his career. She works in a greeting card company and enjoys it very much. It reminded me of the movie ‘500 Days of Summer’. I would love to work in a similar company where i can unleash my inner creativity and emoness through cards, which makes us human anyway
I wonder if she’s also in-charge of Patriotic Invitations? Eversince we were kids, he’s already into writing. He wrote the most creative poems at age 8! He left our school when we were eleven then his family migrated to the US when he was fourteen.
